We are starting a multi-level independent math enrichment program for First And Second Grade. It is for self-directed learners in math.
On Monday of each week, students will receive a worksheet. The students have until Friday to complete the problems, working entirely on their own. On Friday, the more difficult problems on the worksheet are discussed, with the students describing their thinking about how to approach and solve the problems.
The worksheets are not homework. The students may bring the worksheets home on Friday to rework any problems they got wrong, and pass them in on Monday.
