Pre – Reading: This week we reviewed c,n,g,w,l and d. Our word Family for the week is the –et family. We will learn to read the words: jet, met, pet, wet, bet, get and let.
Math: This week we wrote the number 6. We continued to work on the concept what number comes next.
Religion: We read about the Feast of the Epiphany and the visit from the three kings.
Writing: We will work in our Journals.
Social Studies: We learned about a calendar, the months of the year and we told when our birthdays were. We created a graph of our birthdays and determined which month has the most birthdays.
Notes
- I wish to thank everyone who sent in paper products, juice, candy and special snacks for our Christmas Party. Everyone had a fun filled week.
- The children need boots and snow pants for recess when we get snow. Hopefully soon! They also need hats and mittens.
